What is the lasting solution for acne?

I've seen a lot of solutions on the internet but i want a practical solution which was got from pure experience and not just hear or see and say. 10ks.What is the lasting solution for acne?
AGE- in other words one grows out of it,i have oily skin and in late teens it just kind of went away.Dr's today think diet is a problem, but i just think it's a hormonal imbalance which in later years takes care of itself.Everyone is different though make sure you have good hygiene and have patience. What is the lasting solution for acne?
I'd like to know too..

All the information I've found is vague and very contradicting.

I would say the worst solution possible is taking an antibiotic! You'll get rid of your acne then have many, worst problems than the original one. Antibiotics throw off your body's immune balance and should only be taken when necessary from illness. They not only kill the bad bacteria but the GOOD bacteria as well. The bacteria advertised in these yogurts as live cultures that balance your digestion. This also leaves room for overgrowth of yeast linked to depression, fatigue, confusion, ect ect,

I think it has to do sugar consumption, water intake, toxins in body from various things like medications, smoking, ect. I also think picking at the face makes it worst, exclusively with unwashed hands. That is my feel for it as the ';experts have failed me so far.

Other than going to the Derm, try exercise and detox methods like Green Tea and fresh fruit.
If your acne is really bad, and over the counter stuff hasn't worked, then I recommend seeing a dermatologist. Usually they will start you on an antibiotic, then gradually move you up to different things. Once you and your dermatologist find the right cure, your acne will usually last for your life minus the few pimples here and there.
I highly recommend you see a dermatologist because the items you can buy online, in stores, etc are not made for every single person.

A dermatologist will do a detailed exam of your skin and determine what will work best for you. It may cost a little more, but the results will be well worth it!
There a four separate causes of acne. Sometimes you have to take an anti-biotic. Go see your doctor.
