Is there any link between acne and tattoos?

Really random question, I know, but hear me out.





Normally, my skin is pretty clear, but I've recently added a couple more tattoos to my collection, and I realized that every time I've gotten tattooed, I totally break out for a couple days after wards.





It's nothing serious, and it goes away in a few days, but I'm curious. Is there any correlation?Is there any link between acne and tattoos?
Since it clears up later, it's probably just stress-related. Your body is trying to heal the new tattoo, and that puts a little stress on the body. Do or have you had stress acne at any other time?Is there any link between acne and tattoos?
I'm no health expert, but my guess is that it's because your body is weaker while you are healing from a tattoo, and it gives the acne bacteria a better chance to do its thing
no there is not.


It could however be a rash not acne.If this is so, then it may have something to do with your tattoo go to your doctor and ask him/her his/her medical opinion.
I'm sure there is some correlation. I know that there's a direct link between hepatitis and tattoos.
I have 6 tattoos and I've never had a problem with acne after - maybe its the ointment your using on them?
