I dont actually have acne but i have like three pimples, two on my nose and one on my forehead, plus my nose is generally just pretty bad. when buying products for my face, what active ingredients should i look for on the label?What ingredients should be in acne products?

salicylic acid is the number 1 ingredient to fight acne.
benzoyl peroxide is best. look for something with less than 5% (i know neutrogena makes some) or it will just irritate your skin even further. salicylic acid is another common ingredient in acne products. however, it is pretty much useless in cleansers/creams because it needs to be in contact with the skin for a long period of time to do anything. so, basically stay away from products containing salicylic acid because they will most likely do nothing but irritate your skin. also, stay away from scrubs; most will cause micro-tears in the skin and cause even more breakouts.
